Good day for ACC teams with staff changes

Virginia Tech, Virginia and Florida State have all had significant staff changes this offseason -- the kind of dramatic overhauls that can often impact a recruiting class, especially considering so many of the changes were made in recent weeks.

All three of those programs, though, have fared well so far today.

Virginia's Mike London, Virginia Tech's Frank Beamer, and Florida State's Jimbo Fisher have all gotten off to strong starts this signing day. Of course, they can't win them all, and there were some strikes along the way, but overall, all three coaches deserve credit for the recruits they have inked considering the staff turnover. London has two new coordinators, Fisher will too, and Beamer has a new offensive coordinator.

At Virginia, the Cavaliers landed OT George Adeosun, a great late boost to the class. UVa beat Georgia for his signature. London also lured away OT Eric Tetlow from Wake Forest. Virginia Tech has had one of its better classes in recent years, despite coming off a mediocre 7-6 season that ended with four offensive assistants being replaced. The Hokies have signed two ESPN 150 players. And Florida State has won more than it has lost so far, adding Matthew Thomas, the nation's No. 1 OLB to its class, and plucking CB Jalen Ramsey from USC's commitment list.

Nice job so far by staffs under pressure to keep their classes in tact.
