College traditions span from East Coast to West Coast, from football to basketball to baseball, too.
So what are the must-go-to destinations across the country for every college sports fan? We are here to help. ESPN has put together the ultimate Bucket List, featuring all the places/traditions you must see at some point.
Four ACC spots made the list:
Watch Chief Osceola and Renegade plant the burning spear at a Florida State game
The most exciting 25 seconds in college football at Clemson
Watch the Ramblin’ Wreck at Georgia Tech and visit the Varsity postgame
Listen to “Enter Sandman” at Lane Stadium at Virginia Tech on Thursday night
Heather Dinich has experienced all four; I've experienced just two -- Florida State and Clemson. I have been to a game in Blacksburg, but not on a Thursday night. Overall, I have seven total spots checked off on the entire bucket list -- including the Rose Bowl, LSU's Tiger Stadium and Notre Dame Stadium. I've been to games at Auburn, South Carolina, Tennessee and Washington (also on the list) and visited Boise State for a story (but not a game). Great experiences at all venues. Seeing the blue Smurf Turf in person was actually very cool and did not seem all that unusual at all in person.
The one I am missing on my list that I must get to one day -- Hail to the Victors at Michigan.
