Q: Adam, why isn't anyone talking about the injuries to the Denver Broncos' defense? How healthy is Champ Bailey? What are the issues with this D? -- Craig (Colorado)

A: Craig: Their injuries on defense aren't any more extensive than what's affecting other NFL teams. Denver has already placed Stewart Bradley, Quinton Carter, Quanterus Smith, Kevin Vickerson and Rahim Moore on IR. But look at a team like New England that Denver's trying to beat out. The Patriots have placed Vince Wilfork, Tommy Kelly and Adrian Wilson on IR. Who has it worse? Denver does have defensive injuries, but this unit needs to play better for the Broncos to have the kind of season they want. And Denver's defense doesn't even have to be great; it just has to be solid. If it's solid, then Denver's Super Bowl chances are solid as well.

Q: Adam, Jeff Ireland has made a mess in Miami. He has a poor track record in both the draft and free agent acquisitions. He doesn't seem to have the ability to put the right pieces in place for Miami to have success, yet he still has a job. Do you think the Dolphins will finally wake up and bring in a new GM after this season, and who do you think is the right fit? -- Steven (California)
