There’s a new Alabama fan in the Crimson Tide football family and he’s carrying some familiar names.
Alabama defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt and his wife, Casey, recently gave birth to a son named Flynt Anderson-Foster Pruitt.

If that hyphenated middle name sounds familiar, it should. Ryan Anderson and Reuben Foster are former Alabama linebackers who were drafted in April by the Washington Redskins and San Francisco 49ers, respectively. Both were stellar players at Alabama and Pruitt, who also serves as the team’s inside linebackers coach, clearly thought highly of both players, enough to give Flynt a middle name after both of them, as first reported by AL.com.
Anderson posted a congratulatory note to the Pruitts on Instagram, thanking them for the honor of giving the child his and Foster’s name.
