SEC bowl projections: Week 10

It was a rare weekend in the SEC where upsets weren't prevalent. The league's bowl outlook, for once, remained largely unchanged.

Missouri and South Carolina both took care of business on Saturday, beating Tennessee and Mississippi State, respectively. The Tigers remain in the driver's seat to win the East with just one loss, but their final three games against Kentucky, Ole Miss and Texas A&M won't be easy. The Gamecocks, meanwhile, have to run the table against Florida, Coastal Carolina and Clemson, and hope for a Missouri loss to win the division.

Georgia, however, remains lurking in the background with two losses in SEC play. A hard-fought win over rival Florida kept the Bulldogs' hopes alive.

With Alabama and LSU taking the week off, Auburn made hay by going on the road to beat Arkansas in Fayetteville. Auburn remains on track for a top-10 showdown against Alabama in the Iron Bowl. The rivalry game could serve as an SEC championship play-in game should the top-ranked Crimson Tide beat LSU at home this coming weekend.
