Q&A: Florida S signee Rhaheim Ledbetter

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Over the next few weeks GatorNation will have a series of Q&As with Florida's incoming freshmen. Next up is safety Rhaheim Ledbetter from Shelby (N.C.) Crest HS. Ledbetter will enroll at Florida for Summer B in June.

GN: What number will you wear next season?

Ledbetter: I talked to coach [Travaris Robsinson] T-Rob and to coach [DJ] Durkin and asked about getting number 20, my high school number. They didn't seem to have a problem with it. If I can get number 20 then that would be perfect.

GN: Who are you planning to room with when you get to Florida?

Ledbetter: Of course I'm going to try to room with Jon [Bullard], he's my best friend. I'm sure [Will] Muschamp and Durkin won't have a problem with that.

GN: What kind of workout or training program are you doing to prepare?

Ledbetter: Florida sent us a book with our workouts in it. We've been doing that a little bit, but we've also been doing some workouts on our own. Like today we went and flipped tires and ran gassers and ran snakes and running hills. For the most part we stick to the book, but when we get some free time we do stuff on our own.

GN: What are you looking forward to the most when you get to Florida?

Ledbetter: I'm just looking forward to the competition. I feel like if I work hard I have a chance to come in and compete and try and get on the field early. So basically I'm looking forward to competing and trying to get better.

GN: Tell Florida fans something about you that most people don't know.

Ledbetter: I like to dance. I dance a lot when I'm in the house. Most people don't know that about me, but I do like to dance on the side. I don't think I'll dance as much as Dominique Easley, but when I'm in private I like to dance.
