2014 DE Bryson Allen-Williams visits UF

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- With early offers from Penn State, South Carolina, N.C. State and Florida, 2014 defensive line prospect Bryson Allen-Williams (Ellenwood, Ga./Cedar Grove) is sure to be one of the top defensive ends in the southeast next year.

The 6-foot-3, 233-pound athlete visited Florida for their home game against Bowling Green on Saturday and came away impressed with what he saw from the Gators.

"I loved it," Allen-Williams said. "Great atmosphere, great fan base and the defense played very well. Just overall it was a great visit."

While on his visit Allen-Williams had a chance to talk with Florida head coach Will Muschamp about the recruiting process.

"Coach Muschamp just told me to not be in a rush," Allen-Williams said. "He said it's great that I'm going out on these visits early because nowadays when kids commit, they decommit because they haven't been anywhere else. He said it's good that I'm going out and looking at all these schools so if I do decide to commit to Florida it will be a strong commit."

In addition to his Florida visit, Allen-Williams is planning on attending games at Alabama, Auburn, Georgia and South Carolina this season. The Gators made a strong impression on the talented junior, but he says he's not ready to name a leader until after he visits other schools.

"Florida is probably at the top because they were my first offer and that was my first visit," he said. "But I don't have anywhere else to compare it to. After I go on a few more visits I'll probably have more of an idea who's at the top so far."
