Swanson no longer pledged to LSU

According to multiple sources, three-star defensive tackle/fullback Kennard Swanson (Lakeland, Fla./Lake Gibson) is no longer considered an LSU commitment.

Derek Tyson of ESPN's GatorNation recently reported that Florida extended an offer to Swanson. The 6-foot, 250-pound senior also holds offers from Pittsburgh, West Virginia and Western Kentucky.

ESPN 300 wide receiver Chuck Baker (Slidell, La./Salmen) is also out, as The Times-Picayune writes that Baker, a 6-foot-2, 190-pound prospect who committed in February, "still had some work to do in the classroom in order to qualify." Following these two departures, LSU currently holds 23 verbals for 2013 and the nation's eighth-best class, according to ESPN RecruitingNation.
