Northeast (Oakland Park, Fla.) wide receiver Stacy Coley still has plenty of mail to sift through but hopes to trim his list by the end of the spring, according to Northeast head coach Donnell Bennett.
"Right now Stacy is still wide open," Bennett said. "He hasn't made any decisions yet, but I'm hoping we'll get it done by the end of spring."
Bennett has been assisting the 2013 Under Armour All-American with his recruitment and speaking to the majority of the coaches who have called during the spring evaluation period.
"Most of the schools call me to inquire about him," Bennett said. "I know Miami, Florida, FSU, LSU, Alabama, West Virginia Louisville, Wisconsin have contacted in the last week.
Bennett says Coley's approach towards his recruitment has changed and improved over the last six months.
"He's gotten a lot more mature and I think he understands how a major college prospect needs to carry himself," Bennett added. "He's also making the turn-around academically that I really wanted to see."
Bennett said Coley will stay busy in the summer time.
"We've got a lot of team 7-on-7 events planned," Bennett said. "We're definitely going to do Heath Evans and maybe the Sling & Shoot at South Florida.
"He's also trying to make it to Orlando this weekend and see if he can get into 'The Opening'."
