Dominique Brown (Ocala, Fla./ Trinity Catholic) emerged over the summer circuit as a potentially big-time prospect.
The 5-foot-11, 185-pound cornerback camped well just about everywhere he went, including Florida and Florida State.
But his momentum slowed a little during the fall, and only FIU and South Carolina offered. Monday might have got the ball rolling again when Middle Tennessee made it three.
"Yes, that offer made me hungry," Brown said. "I want to become better and help my team the best way I can."
More are probably on the horizon, as lots of schools in the region continue to send him mail and correspond on the internet.
"I think so," said Brown. "I have been hearing from FSU, Duke, LSU, a lot of schools in the SEC as well as the ACC."
Brown will visit UCF on Tuesday and could get his fourth offer then. He will also visit Florida State, Texas and Duke soon.
The in-state Seminoles have been continuing to contact him he said.
"[The Seminoles are communicating] through the mail from the head coach [Jimbo Fisher], and the wide receivers coach [Lawrence Dawsey]," Brown said.
