Georgia tailback Nick Chubb will not play Saturday vs. Tennessee because of an ankle injury, a source confirmed to ESPN.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution first reported Chubb would not play against the Vols.
"I don't think he's going to play," Henry Chubb, Nick's father, told the newspaper. "He's got that high-ankle sprain. He twisted it trying to make a cut against Ole Miss. He's in good spirits and all. He understands it. The doctor said he'd need a couple weeks, so he'll probably play next week."
Chubb reaggravated his ankle injury at Ole Miss last week. He had initially suffered the injury the previous week, a source said.
