A new school is making a strong push for Rico McGraw. That means a visit to Georgia could soon be in the works for the sophomore cornerback from Nashville (Tenn.) Ensworth.
"I don't know yet," McGraw said when asked when he might visit Athens. "Georgia has been wanting me to come down, so I'm going to try to make it down there pretty soon."
The Bulldogs haven't offered McGraw a scholarship just yet. That seems likely. McGraw picked up his first scholarship offer from Alabama last summer. He has since picked up several more.
"They haven't offered, but I would love to come in contact with them," McGraw said about Georgia. "Great school and team."
Tennessee's next coach will likely make McGraw a top priority. When asked about the Volunteers, McGraw said, "Hopefully with a new coach, as a team, they will gather more wins and begin to progress. The last staff was after me pretty aggressively."
Tennessee is currently looking for its next coach after firing head coach Derek Dooley this month. McGraw is an-state prospect, but never has been a strong fan of the school.
"Growing up I watched them," McGraw said, "but really didn't root them on anything."
