Dylan Moses is growing accustomed to being first.
The 6-foot-2, 220-pound freshman sensation was the first prospect in the 2017 class to be offered by both LSU and Alabama.
He was also the first commitment for LSU in the 2017 class.
Those are just two of the more publicized firsts for Moses, who doesn’t turn 16 until May 25.
Time to add another milestone to the list.
On April 22, Moses became the first freshman to be invited to play in the Under Armour All-America Game.
"Well, to be honest it's a dream come true," he said. "I've been watching the Under Armour Game since I was a little kid, and to now get the chance to play in it ... it really is a dream come true."
While Moses will have to wait until January, 2017 to take the field in the prestigious game, the decision to accept the invitation was an easy one for a prospect who wants to compete against the nation's best.
"I went to the Under Armour Game in January. That was the first time I had gone to the UA Game. The atmosphere was great. Seeing all of the top players in the country go against each other -- that's what I want to do. I want to play against the best players."
When Moses does take that field in three years, he will follow the long line of top prospects that have played in the Under Armour All-America Game.
Past players include Julio Jones, A.J. Green, Heisman Trophy winner Jameis Winston, Jadeveon Clowney, Trent Richardson, Luke Joeckel and Robert Nkemdiche -- to name a few.
In the 2014 class, all 15 five-star prospects in the ESPN 300 played in the Under Armour All-America Game.
Moses posted a jaw-dropping 176 tackles, 13 tackles-for-loss and six forced fumbles as a freshman for University Laboratory School. He added 475 yards rushing and seven touchdowns, averaging 16.45 yards per carry. Both the total tackles and yards per carry are school records.
Moses first burst onto the national recruiting scene in July, 2012 after posting a 4.46 40-yard dash time at LSU's camp at age 14. His stunning performance quickly earned a scholarship offer from Tigers head coach Les Miles.
