Question (Chris in Orange, Texas): If I make one road game this year, what one should it be:
Gary Laney: For me, it's easy.
The Oct. 20 game at Texas A&M is one I already have circled on my calendar.
To me, this has the making of a great state line rivalry, now that they are in the same conference. Both schools sit just 2 1/2 hours away (more or less) from the other's state line. They both recruit players from the other state. The Aggies have eight players from Louisiana and LSU has 12 from Texas. The two schools will battle each other tooth and nail for recruits in Houston and Dallas.
Plus, you have two passionate fan bases and while LSU has been to Kyle Field before, it's not been for an SEC game.
Auburn, Florida and Arkansas are also great trips for tough opponents. But I'm looking at A&M as the game I have circled. And for you, Chris, being from Orange, it's your most convenient trip.
