BATON ROUGE, La. -- LSU lost a commitment Sunday afternoon, although it won't hurt the Tigers with regard to national signing day this Wednesday.
Jeryl Brazil, an athlete in the class of 2013 and the Tigers' only 2013 commitment to this point, announced his decision to de-commit Sunday, saying he wanted to experience the full recruiting process.
"I just wanted to open my recruitment back up and see what other schools had to offer, because I committed really early," Brazil said.
Brazil said he had been thinking about decommitting recently before ultimately making the move. But he added that his decommitment won't remove LSU from his consideration.
"They'll always be at the top of my recruiting list, but I just wanted to see the other schools," he said.
