One of the reasons quarterback Brandon Harris (Bossier City, La./Parkway) said he committed to LSU Thursday was a desire to avoid playing against his home state's talent.
Louisiana currently features the following uncommitted offensive players near the top of the 2014 ESPN 300: No. 1 RB Leonard Fournette, No. 7 OL Cameron Robinson, No. 8 WR Speedy Noil, No. 28 WR Malachi Dupre and No. 38 WR Trey Quinn.
"If you play against them," said the No. 2 dual-threat QB, "you'll get your feelings hurt."
But for LSU and its most recent commit, there's still a lot of work to be done to get that talent in Baton Rouge. And Harris is wasting no time in doing his part.
