With college baseball wrapped up, the final standings are in for this year's Learfield Sports Directors' Cup, which recognizes schools for their achievements in all sports throughout the academic year.
As usual, Stanford took home the top prize, winning the all-sports title for the 19th straight year. Michigan led all Big Ten teams with a fourth-place finish in the standings, with 1138.25 total points. The Wolverines won men’s gymnastics and men’s swimming national titles this past season and played in the men's basketball final. Schools can receive points for up to 20 teams (10 men's and 10 women's).
Penn State gave the Big Ten two top-10 finishes, coming in at No. 6. Here's how other league programs fared:
16. Ohio State
30. Michigan State
Big Ten schools sponsor a whole lot of sports, so this gives you an idea of how the athletic departments are faring in all areas.
