Cincinnati offensive lineman Caleb Stacey has decided to decommit from the University of Michigan, and has accepted a scholarship offer from Cincinnati. Stacey was the second prospect to commit to Michigan in March, but he has decided not to remain with the Wolverines.
Stacey tweeted the news out and confirmed via text that he was indeed decommitting. He said further comment will be made once the situation calms down.
Michigan is still pursuing three offensive linemen in Josh Garnett (Puyallup, Wash./Puyallup), Jordan Diamond (Chicago) and Alex Kozan (Highlands Ranch, Col./Valor Christian). This might cause Michigan to try to add two more linemen to this class, or maybe even all three.
