The Cass Tech pipeline continues to roll in for Michigan as the Wolverines have just gained a commitment from offensive lineman David Dawson. The 6-foot-2, 300-pound guard chose Michigan while visiting Ann Arbor, making the fourth commitment of a wild Saturday.
Dawson started his career at Cass Tech, moved to Texas for a year, and is now back with the Technicians. Michigan was a familiar place for him, which is part of why he pulled the trigger today.
"I'm home! I'm home! I love the coaches, facilities, and I'm playing with the greatest in college football," he said via text.
Dawson chose Michigan over offers from the likes of national champion Alabama, Arkansas and Florida State, among others.
