The top-seeded Michigan hockey team faces fourth-seeded Bowling Green State at 8:05 Friday night in the semifinals of the CCHA tournament at Joe Louis Arena.
The first semifinal is a matchup between No. 3 seed Miami and No. 2 seed Western Michigan.
The winners will face off in the CCHA Championship game at 7:35 p.m. Saturday, while the losers will meet in the consolation game at 3:35 p.m.
Michigan closed out its regular season schedule with a series against Bowling Green. They split, with the Falcons winning 4-3 the first night and the Wolverines winning 3-0 the next day.
The Wolverines have won the CCHA tournament twice in the past four years and finished in third and second the other two years. In nine of the last 11 years the Wolverines have made the championship game.
