Michigan releases 2012-13 basketball sked

Michigan coach John Beilein might not like what he sees in the beginning of February.

A potentially brutal four-game swing begins then, highlighting the Michigan men’s basketball schedule, which was released Thursday.

Michigan will travel to Indiana on Feb. 2, followed by playing host to Ohio State on Feb. 5, traveling to Wisconsin on Feb. 9 and then to rival Michigan State on Feb. 12.

The Wolverines also will close the Big Ten season against league favorite Indiana on March 10.

Two games of Michigan’s schedule remain unknown as the preseason NIT tip-off has not determined which teams will travel to Ann Arbor, Mich. for the first two rounds on Nov. 12-13.

The season opens against an opponent more known for its football ties to Michigan, Division II Slippery Rock, on Nov. 9.
