Michigan center David Molk already won one Rimington trophy this season -- the Rimington-Pace Offensive Lineman of the Year award given out by the Big Ten.
Now, he's a finalist for a more prestigious Rimington Trophy -- the one given to the nation's top center.
Molk is one of six finalists for the trophy along with Wisconsin's Peter Konz, Clemson's Dalton Freeman, Oklahoma State's Grant Garner, Georgia's Ben Jones and Alabama's William Vlachos.
The award winner will be announced Thursday during the Home Depot College Football Awards Show and will be presented on Jan. 14 in a ceremony in Lincoln, Neb.
Michigan has one had one Rimington Trophy winner in the past, David Baas in 2004. Baas shared the award with Ben Wilkerson from LSU.
