Recruits, commits react to Sugar Bowl win

WolverineNation’s Chantel Jennings caught up with a few commits and recruits to get their reactions to Michigan’s Allstate Sugar Bowl win over Virginia Tech.

Taco Charlton (Pickerington, Ohio/Central), 2013 defensive end recruit

REACTION: "It was crazy. I was sitting on the edge of my bed, just hoping that we’d pull it off. When the Virginia Tech guy missed that field goal I knew Michigan would win the game. I had faith that Michigan would pull it off, even when they went into overtime."

DOES IT CHANGE ANYTHING ABOUT YOUR RECRUITMENT: "I’m not committing yet, but Michigan has always been one of the top schools for me. I have a really good relationship with all the coaches. This just shows that they’re on the come up and they’re a force to be reckoned with in the Big Ten and the nation now."

DO YOU HAVE A NO. 1 OR TOP FIVE: "No top schools just yet. I’m still getting talked to by so many new schools that it’s hard to try and make a top five with new schools coming into the picture. I’m not rushing it. Once spring hits I might start making a couple cuts, but I’m not rushing it right now. Just sitting back and letting things happen."
