OU will have to work for Ward

Two of the first three commits for OU’s 2012 class were the top two in-state products in running back Alex Ross (Jenks, Okla./Jenks) and wide receiver Sterling Shepard (Oklahoma City/Heritage Hall).

The Sooners jumped on Ross before anybody knew who he was, and Shepard was practically guaranteed to be a Sooner if OU wanted him with his father and two uncles all having played football at OU.
