One of the earliest commitments for the Oregon Ducks recruiting class was also their highest-rated commit.
After watching fellow Texan running back LaMichael James become a Duck legend, the No. 51 player in the ESPN 150 decided Oregon was the place for him.
With schools like Texas, Ohio State, LSU and others heavily involved in his recruitment, Dontre Wilson (DeSoto, Tx/Desoto) made it clear Oregon is the place for him.
It still appears to be the place, as the 5-foot-10, 180-pound speedster says schools are still after him but he will be taking no visits this fall.
"I'm solid to Oregon. That's where I want to be and where I'm going," Wilson said. "I have no other visits planned and don't see that changing."
The one visit he will take is an official visit to Oregon when the Ducks host the rival Washington Huskies on Oct. 6th.
"I don't know the date but I'm going up there for the weekend of the Washington game in October," Wilson said. "That's when a lot of guys will be there."
