Thomas Tyner TweetChat

We asked fans to pass along their questions for Ducks' RB commit Thomas Tyner (Aloha, Ore./Aloha) via the @ESPNDuckNation Twitter handle, so we could have the No. 54 player in the ESPN 150 share his thoughts with the fans.

The response was incredible, as we received a number of great questions. With the future Oregon running back's help we narrowed it down to five of the best questions that were submitted. Here is what the nation's No. 6 RB had to say...

@Dyetz21: What expectation do you have for yourself in your first year as a #Duck? #AskTyner

Thomas Tyner: My expectations will never change. I will do my best, and help lead the team to a National Championship game.

@grantgilbert4: What's your opinion on Chip Kelly leaving? What will this do to your playing time next year? #AskTyner

Tyner: I'm happy for Chip Kelly. Chip would be a great coach to play for obviously, but Helfrich is awesome. You cant worry about playing time, you have to love to compete.

@ThatMandoGuy: Any pressure on you (Thomas) on continuing Oregons success with the running game? #AskTyner

Tyner: Winners dont break under pressure. We will be a great team with great expectations, and those expectations will be fulfilled.

@NateStevens827: what do u believe your role will be with the team? And do you believe you have what it takes to be a starter?

Tyner: My role as a running back is simple, read the defense and react. I will do whatever it takes to get my PT.

@chipkellyrules: #AskTyner - what do you look forward to most as a Duck?

Tyner: I look forward to playing in my home state and seeing how I can use my speed in the spread.
