Check back with Christopher Worley (Cleveland, Ohio/Glenville) in a few weeks.
That’s what the 6-foot-3, 190-pound Worley wants to tell all the schools looking at him.
He’s not saying that in a negative way, Worley just wants to get things going with his Tarblooders before he starts looking at trimming things down.
While he’s got offers from the likes of Arkansas, Michigan State, Ohio State, Pittsburgh and West Virginia, he’s not ready to list a top five, let alone a top three.
Being looked at in the linebacker position by many schools, Worley wants to get past games with Cleveland St. Edward and Solon before he starts looking very seriously at the next level.
“I don’t know yet,” Worley said of his trimmed down list. “After these first two games are done and we start getting into the Senate [League], I’ll start looking at things.”
He didn’t discount an official visit to the Buckeyes, who he has flirted with for quite a while.
The feeling is mutual with the Buckeyes, who offered the senior on April 11.
“They’re a school,” Worley said. “They’re complete, top to bottom. I definitely wouldn’t mind going there. They’re top five material. It’s the coaching staff, the players, everything. I already knew what they have. It’s a great place to be.”
