It’s still way too early in the game, but there are two schools sticking out more than the rest for Raekwon McMillan (Hinesville, Ga./Liberty County).

He’s got offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Miami, Notre Dame and Texas among many others, but two keep coming to the forefront.

Those two are Ohio State and Georgia, as the two storied programs are pulling out a full-court press for the 6-foot-3, 235-pound inside linebacker.

Clemson is in the mix as well, but right now the Buckeyes and Bulldogs are co-favorites.

“I love the family, tradition and spirit with Ohio State,” McMillan said “UGA is my family’s favorite school. I kinda grew up watching them.”

McMillan came up to Ohio State’s Friday Night Lights on July 27 but didn’t participate. He still walked away impressed with the entire process.

“I feel more at home,” McMillan said after the camp. “It’s a long way from home, but I feel like it [could be] home now.

“When I was at Friday Night Lights, I got to soak in all the tradition Ohio State has to offer. Even though it was my second trip down there, it was a lot to soak in. My next trip won’t be for a while now, so I had to take it all in.”

Last season, McMillan registered 97 tackles -- 20 for loss -- forced five fumbles and had one sack and one interception.
