Three commits plan unofficial visits

The Buckeyes kick off the 2012 season against Miami (Ohio) on Saturday at noon and some big names will take unofficial visits to The Horseshoe.

On Monday, quarterback Drew Barker (Hebron, Ky./Conner) told BuckeyeNation he planned on taking in the game. Tuesday, Ohio State commits Darron Lee (New Albany, Ohio/New Albany), Jalin Marshall (Middletown, Ohio/Middletown) and Cam Burrows (Trotwood, Ohio/Trotwood-Madison) indicated they would join Barker.

Thaddeus Snodgrass (Springfield, Ohio/Springfield) had planned on attending as well, but told BuckeyeNation Wednesday afternoon that he won't be able to make it.

Tentative plans are in place to attend the Sept. 8 game at The Horseshoe against UCF.

The 2014 wide receiver currently has offers from Georgia Tech, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Purdue, Toledo and Wisconsin. Michigan and Illinois are also showing interest.
