Right now, the one thing Donovan Munger (Shaker Heights, Ohio/Shaker Heights) knows is that he doesn’t know.
The ESPN 300 defensive tackle has 30 offers and said after Ohio State’s Friday Night Lights camp that he wanted to have his decision process out of the way by midseason.
As that mark nears next week, the 6-foot-3, 280-pound Munger is having a hard time.
“I’m stressed out, man,” Munger said following Saturday’s 55-0 win over Parma. “Making that top 10, that top 5, is really hard for me right now. I haven’t been able to take any visits.”
Most of that is because Shaker Heights plays in the middle of college game day. Of the four games the Red Raiders have played, three have fallen on a Saturday.
The squad has a game next week on a Friday, but closes out the regular season with three more Saturday games.
That leaves him with three open dates from now until Oct. 26 to get some visits in.
Munger knows Ohio State is in the mix and he knows he’ll get to a game next week, but he’s not sure which one.
“I’ve got to keep talking to coaches and keep planning visits,” Munger said. “It’s tough because most of our games are on Saturdays.”
