One of the biggest -- perhaps the biggest -- linebackers in the Class of 2014 continued his love affair with Ohio State on Saturday.
Raekwon McMillan (Hinesville, Ga./Liberty), who has more than 25 Division I offers already, continues to put the Buckeyes either at the top or near the top as more colleges come calling every day.
The 6-foot-3, 235-pound ESPN Watch List inside linebacker saw something special in Columbus when he visited Ohio State for the Friday Night Lights camp in July.
Saturday’s 26-21 win over Michigan gave the junior a lot to talk about when his friends and family ask him about what he saw during what many consider the greatest rivalry in college.
“I loved the rivalry and the atmosphere and the game,” McMillan said. “The intensity in which the players played and the coaches coached was just all-around great.”
It was so great McMillan hasn’t swayed at all from keeping the Buckeyes at the top of his list. While he’s in no hurry to make a decision, McMillan is going back to Georgia thinking about the scarlet and grey and the 105,899 fans in attendance.
“It was a great game,” McMillan said. “It was everything. It was exactly what I thought it would be because it was a big rivalry. It was a crazy atmosphere.”
McMillan’s junior season has been nothing short of incredible with 152 tackles -- 22 for a loss -- 7 sacks, 5 forced fumbles, an interception and a defensive touchdown.
