Lewis Neal's official visit to LSU seems mostly a formality when it comes to his recruitment.
Sure, the linebacker from Wilson (N.C.) will enjoy his first game in Baton Rouge, but it seems unlikely anything could change the four-star prospect's mind about his college commitment he made to the Tigers in July.
"Same schools but I don't really pay any other schools any mind one bit!" Neal stated via text message when asked what other schools are still recruiting him.
Neal's dedication is a bit different than what was expected from the prospect when he committed to Ohio State during a visit to Columbus then suddenly decommitted after returning home. A visit to Baton Rouge last summer was part of what pushed him to reconsider his Buckeye commitment.
Neal will be in Baton Rouge from Saturday to Monday. He will take the trip with his mother and aunt, who have been involved throughout his recruitment.
When asked what he'd like to learn about LSU on the trip, Neal stated, "Hope a lot!"
He already seems to know plenty.
