Four-star wideout DaeSean Hamilton (Stafford, Va./Mountain View) became the fourth recruit to commit to Penn State during the weekend, according to a source.

Hamilton's commitment was first reported by his hometown newspaper, The Free Lance-Star, which quoted his mother. He becomes the 17th commitment of the 2013 recruiting class.

The 6-foot, 185-pound prospect held double-digit offers from the likes of Miami (Fla.), Michigan State and West Virginia. He attended other officials at Wake Forest and Virginia before going on an official to PSU this past weekend.

"I like what they've done this year," Hamilton told NittanyNation before taking that official visit. "They've gone 8-4 even after all that controversy. I like the coaching staff up there and how they're trying to turn it around. And I like how they throw the ball around to their star receiver there, Allen Robinson."

Hamilton, a projected wideout, is the only wide receiver of the class.
