Focus on '14: Receivers/tight ends

GigEmNation is taking a weekly position-by-position look at the 2014 recruiting class as it relates to Texas A&M, whom the Aggies are targeting, as well as 2013 commits and who on the roster will graduate. Today, we look at receivers and tight ends.

2013 commits: Derrick Griffin, Rosenberg (Texas) Terry; Quincy Adeboyejo, Cedar Hill (Texas) High School; Kyrion Parker, Manvel (Texas) High School; Jeremy Tabuyo, Honolulu St. Louis School. Two athlete commits -- LaQuvionte Gonzalez of Cedar Hill and Cameron Echols-Luper of Auburn (Ala.) High School -- are also possible receivers

2014 targets

K.D. Cannon, Mount Pleasant (Texas) High School: The ESPN Watch List receiver has offers from more than a dozen schools, including Baylor, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, TCU, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech and West Virginia. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound prospect recently visited College Station, Texas, for A&M's home game against LSU.

Jamal Jeffery, Lufkin (Texas) High School: Jeffery has interest from several schools, but Texas A&M is the first and only one to offer the 5-8, 165-pound receiver.

Speedy Noil, New Orleans Edna Karr: The ESPN Watch List receiver has offers from Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Ohio State, TCU, Texas and Texas A&M. He's teammates with 2013 A&M cornerback commit Noel Ellis.

Trey Quinn, Lake Charles (La.) Barbe: The ESPN Watch List receiver's top two offers are from LSU and Texas A&M. He attended Alabama vs. LSU recently and unofficially visited Texas A&M over the summer.

Jacory Washington, Westlake (La.) High School: The ESPN Watch List tight end has more than a dozen offers, including from Alabama, Florida, LSU and Texas A&M. The 6-5, 220-pound prospect has unofficially visited both A&M and LSU.
