Shaun Nixon (Austin, Texas/Lake Travis) felt his first offer proved he could play college football. His latest ones ensure the 2014 running back will have options.
Nixon received an offer from Baylor on Wednesday and another from SMU earlier this week. The 5-foot-10, 180-pound back already held offers from Clemson and Texas Tech.
"I think Baylor is a great school," Nixon said. "They produced a lot of NFL players, their academics are very good and they have a great running backs coach who makes you laugh. I hope to visit to learn more."
Oklahoma, TCU, Arizona, Minnesota have also visited Nixon during Lake Travis' spring practices, and Texas has asked him to attend one of the Longhorns' camps in June.
As a sophomore, Nixon rushed for 1,250 yards and 15 touchdowns as Lake Travis won its fifth straight state title.
