Storylines from Tuesday practice

Chris Galippo had the hit of the day when he filled a gap on the final play of a 9 on 7 drill. The play brought Galippo a "shoulder bump" congratulations as he headed to the next drill from both Joe Barry and Pat Haden.

Ross Cumming had a real nice one-handed grab over the middle.

Marcus Martin showed off his dancing moves in the huddle as the music was playing over the loudspeaker.

Brice Butler had a terrific sideline grab from Cody Kessler in a two-minute drill against coverage from Tony Burnett.

DaJohn Harris (ankle) and Martin Coleman (shoulder) did not practice. Among those who were limited in practice; Jawanza Starling, Dion Bailey, Hayes Pullard, George Farmer, Marc Tyler, Marqise Lee and Robert Woods.

Lane Kiffin said one of the good things for this team right now is that "People around here appreciate the way they are playing."

On Marc Tyler, Kiffin said, "Marc could play right now if we needed him to, he will be a gametime decision."

On Steve Sarkisian comments comparing Matt Barkley to Andrew Luck, Kiffin said, "He's already played Andrew Luck or else he wouldn't be saying that. He's never been an NFL head coach, he turned it down and made me go."

On stopping Chris Polk and Washington run game, Kiffin said "Oregon tackled great the whole game, it's not real complicated."
