A look at this week’s top USC recruit performances:
Su’a Cravens (Murrieta, Calif./Vista Murrieta): The legend of Su’a Cravens continues to grow in the Inland Empire. The USC commit displayed his versatility yet again, scoring on special teams, offense and defense in a thorough 45-17 victory against previously unbeaten Murrieta Valley (Calif.) High School. Cravens reached the end zone on a 20-yard punt return, 18-yard catch and 104-yard interception return. Vista Murrieta, the No. 10 team in the ESPN 25 Power Rankings, improved to 8-0.
Justin Davis (Stockton, Calif./Lincoln): Davis rushed for a season-high 267 yards and six touchdowns Friday in a 62-32 victory against league foe Tracy (Calif.) High School. After a slow start to the season, Lincoln (5-3) has shown signs of life since the start of league play.
Max Redfield (Mission Viejo, Calif./Mission Viejo): Redfield had more than 130 receiving yards in a come-from-behind 55-32 win at Las Flores (Calif.) Tesoro. A large chunk of that yardage came on an 80-yard touchdown strike to open the second half, inspiring Mission Viejo (8-0) on the road. The USC safety commit also had a handful of tackles on defense.
Max Browne (Sammamish Wash./Skyline): The USC quarterback commit completed 17 of 29 passes for 188 yards and a touchdown in a 21-0 victory over Issaquah (Wash.) High School. Browne also ran for a score, helping Skyline push its record to 8-0.
Sebastian LaRue (Santa Monica, Calif./Santa Monica): An 86-yard touchdown reception by the Trojans receiver commit paced Santa Monica (5-3) to a 17-3 win against rival Culver City (Calif.) High School.
