A look at this week's top USC recruit performances:
SS Su’a Cravens (Murrieta, Calif./Vista Murrieta): The USC safety commit has been patiently waiting to break out on offense and Vista Murrieta coach Coley Candaele apparently let his star athlete loose in Friday night’s 38-0 victory against Temecula (Calif.) Chaparral. Cravens helped Vista Murrieta (10-0) clinch the Southwestern League title by hauling in seven passes for 128 yards and two touchdowns.
ATH Max Redfield (Mission Viejo, Calif./Mission Viejo): Redfield, a soft verbal commit to the Trojans, had six receptions for 91 yards and a touchdown in Mission Viejo’s resounding 49-7 win over previously unbeaten Lake Forest (Calif.) El Toro. Mission Viejo (10-0), the top-ranked team in Orange County, claimed the South Coast League crown.
OL Nico Falah (Bellflower, Calif./St. John Bosco): Falah helped pave the way for five rushing touchdowns in St. John Bosco’s 42-15 rout of Rancho Santa Margarita (Calif.) Catholic. The Braves captured their first Trinity League title.
RB Justin Davis (Stockton, Calif./Lincoln): The USC running back commit had 165 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries in a 56-27 win against Lodi (Calif.). Lincoln improved to 7-3, including a perfect 5-0 in league play.
