Roundtable: The next USC commit

A couple of big recruiting events are coming up with the USC Rising Stars Camp and The Opening. There are traditionally some verbal commitments around these events. Who is your projection for the next USC verbal commitment in the class of 2014?

Garry Paskwietz

LB Fred Warner (San Marcos, Calif./Mission Hills): Right now Warner is a verbal commit to BYU, where his mother attended school, but a recent offer from the Trojans is giving him something to think about. He will get even more to think about when he attends the Rising Stars Camp with a chance to get coached up by the Trojans' staff and to learn more about the academics at USC. Warner has a 3.6 GPA and is known to take his schoolwork seriously. When you combine the academic opportunities with a chance to play linebacker at a school with a tradition at the spot like USC, it won’t be a huge surprise if Warner ends up in cardinal and gold.
