USC Trojans head coach Lane Kiffin has finalized his 2012 coaching staff with the hiring of former University of Kentucky assistant coach Tee Martin.
Martin, who served as the wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator for the Wildcats in 2011, will be the wide receivers coach for the Trojans.
In 2010 -- his first year at Kentucky -- Martin coached wide receiver Randall Cobb to All-American honors. Cobb was eventually selected by the Green Bay Packers in the second round of the 2011 NFL draft.
Martin had previous coaching stops at the University of New Mexico, a pair of high schools in the Atlanta (GA) area and Morehouse College. Martin also has been a coach for the Elite 11 Quarterback camps and Nike football training camps.
As a player, Martin led the University of Tennessee to the national title in 1998 as a quarterback and later spent six years playing professional football after being drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the sixth round of the 2000 draft.
The USC Trojans are scheduled to open spring ball practices on March 6.
