Falah's official visit to Oregon canceled

USC commit Nico Falah (Bellfower, Calif./St. John Bosco) had planned to take an official visit to Oregon on Sept. 21 in spite of his firm commitment to the Trojans but will no longer make the trip.

It seemed as if he was done with his recruitment once he committed to USC in July, but decided he wanted to officially visit both Oregon and California. The problem is the Ducks don't allow recruits committed to other schools to visit at the expense of their recruiting budget.

With that, Oregon and Falah have mutually agreed to cancel the official visit.

There are exceptions to every rule, so don't be surprised if the Ducks allowed USC commit Chris Hawkins to take an official, as the Ducks are also interested in three of his high school teammates. Tahaan Goodman (Rancho Cucamonga, Calif./Rancho Cucamonga) and brothers Alani 'A.J.' Latu and Viliami Latu (Rancho Cucamonga, Calif./Rancho Cucamonga) are all remaining targets for the Ducks as they try and fill up the class with defensive prospects.

With Evan Voeller (West Linn, Ore./West Linn) and Alex Redmond (Los Alamitos, Calif./Los Alamitos) already committed, the Ducks are looking for just one more commit to finish off the offensive line haul.

Thomas Oser (North Hollywood, Calif./Harvard-Westlake) and J.D. Hinnant (Fountain Valley, Calif/Fountain Valley) remain the Ducks' top two targets on the offensive line. Both Oser and Hinnant are scheduled to officially visit Eugene on the weekend of Sept. 21, along with Redmond, when the Ducks open Pac-12 play against Arizona.
