LOS ANGELES -- USC offensive line commit Nico Falah (Bellflower, Calif./St. John Bosco) on Saturday set up an official visit to Washington for the weekend of Dec. 7.
Falah, the only offensive tackle in the Trojans' 2013 recruiting class, initially planned to unofficially visit USC this upcoming weekend while the early enrollees are on campus on their official trips, but that changed when three Washington coaches dropped by for an in-home meeting last week.
"They came on a home visit and I really liked what they we're telling me, so I'm going to check it out," Falah said Saturday.
It will be Falah's second official visit. He took a trip to Oregon the weekend of Nov. 17 and, though he remained solidly committed to the Trojans, came away impressed with the Ducks.
Elsewhere, four-star safety Leon McQuay III (Seffner, Fla./Armwood) and his high school team were eliminated Friday in the FHSAA Class 6A quarterfinals, but it was a bit of good news for USC. The loss assured that McQuay will be able to take his scheduled official visit to campus this weekend. It will be his final trip as McQuay previously has visited Vanderbilt, Oregon, Michigan and Florida State.
