Can Schneider dislodge Quick as U.S. starter?

Cory Schneider is going to have one more start this month, one more start in 2015. And in completely relative terms, you could say he’s struggling a little bit right now. He’s allowed at least three goals in three of his past four starts, dropping his December save percentage to .917.

If he ends December without improving his save percentage for this month in Wednesday's game against the Senators, it would be his lowest save percentage since October 2014 in a month with at least four starts.

And it still would be above the league average.

Right now the league average for save percentage is at .915, right in line with where it’s been since Schneider was traded to the Devils at the 2014 draft.
