Thursday was a big night for Washington football, thanks to the Huskies' upset of Stanford. This weekend could be equally big for UW on the hardwood if things go well with some high-profile on-campus visits.
Lorenzo Romar has been waiting a long time to get No. 6 overall prospect Aaron Gordon (San Jose, Calif./Bishop Mitty) on campus at Washington, and this weekend is finally his chance.
Editor's note: There’s no guarantee all these guys make it to campus. We will update as information emerges on players who drop off these lists or are added. Also, this is merely a snapshot of the country, not the full representation of each program.

Zach Spiker’s charges have a quartet on hand for the weekend.

The Golden Bears host Jones and have a keen eye on what’s going on at Washington this weekend.
Getting Russell and Johnson, a pair of elite juniors, on campus is big news for the future Big East program. Even at a school with 60,000 students they'll be easy to spot.
Visitor: SF Tre’Shaun Lexing
Lexing is going through the process and the Buffaloes are the latest in a series of trips.
Visitor: SF Kendall Pollard
Archie Miller is a tough guy and so is Pollard. We’ll see if they can find common ground.

With every big man pledge, Jones’ stock moves up a notch.
Smith is on board and Clark is a junior who’s gaining steam in central Carolina.

Visitor: PG Frank Mason
The big question in Kansas is: Who will the Jayhawks sign at the point? Mason could very well be that guy, and this visit may end their search.
Visitor: ESPN 100 SG James Young
It’s an unofficial and he’s the lone player in town. Translation: He’s about to be showered with love from BBN.
Visitor: Cazmon Hayes
With an assistant on staff from North Carolina, the Red Foxes look to Charlotte for a wing player.
Visitor: SF Josh Hart
Hart is from D.C. and the entire Hurricanes staff is filled with transplants from that area. Hart has been on numerous visits and hasn’t popped yet, so we’re saying the Canes have a chance.
Visitor: ESPN 100 PF Jonathan Williams
ESPN’s “College GameDay” is headed to East Lansing along with J3. The Spartans are quietly in the mix for this Memphis forward.

SMU is going big-game hunting with elite players. If it’s going to land a headliner, it’s best chance might be with Roberson.

Local guy makes visit to TCU, and Horned Frogs might push up on him.

The theme is the same: Bigs are at a premium, and Shepard can pass, score and handle his area. Aggies need to land him.
Visitor: SG David Robertson
No bragging here, but a little birdie told me Robertson showed up on his official visit sporting a Carolina Challenge T-shirt. That’s marketing at its finest, folks.
Shaka Smart’s three committed players are on campus for their trip. This class looks good, and Lewis is the sleeper.

Visitor: PG Ike Irogebu
If the Oak Hill point guard is going to return to the West Coast and play in the Pac-12, this is his opportunity.

Williams hails from bordering Ohio, and he’s the type of blue-collar guy Bob Huggins typically favors.
Visitor: SG Ron Patterson
The one-time Indiana signee has been on F-I-R-E during workouts. In turn, his stock has heated up.
