Fantasy owners sure love their garbage-time points, and Houston Texans running back Arian Foster supplied quite a few of them on Sunday, scoring a pair of third-quarter touchdowns in helping to make a 41-0 deficit closer against the Miami Dolphins. Of course, those are the last points Foster, a top-5 running back since 2010, will be accruing this season after he suffered a torn right Achilles tendon in the 44-26 loss. Was it worth it? Not even close! Foster scored 23 standard fantasy points, his best outing of a truncated season, but now he’s done, likely for his Texans career, as well, and it creates yet another unsatisfying fantasy running back situation in a league full of them.
