Wisconsin has Final Four potential

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. -- It’s almost a rite of passage. Bo Ryan’s Wisconsin Badgers don’t quite pass the “eye test,” yet somehow they always find a way to earn a spot in the NCAA tournament. Twelve seasons and a dozen appearances in the Ryan era.

But then there’s also this understanding that Ryan’s team won’t be a true factor come March. Maybe a win or two, but then the pesky defense and methodical offense will take the Badgers only so far and they will be knocked out either prior to or in the Sweet 16.

This team is different.
