Illini's pursuit of transfers

When Aaron Cosby announced he was transferring from Seton Hall, the sophomore's decision made little sense. Cosby had distinguished himself as the Pirates' starting point guard, using 72 percent of SHU's available minutes and posting an assist rate of 22 percent (per Ken Pomeroy), and though he would have to share the backcourt with Sterling Gibbs next season, it seemed clear that Cosby would still earn a plethora of minutes.
