Crimson Tide's undersized roster

Anthony Grant has had a troubling offseason. First came news that Moussa Gueye, Alabama's lone 7-footer, would transfer for his final season of eligibility, an announcement that was followed by Trevor Lacey's decision to leave Tuscaloosa (ultimately committing to North Carolina State). Lacey was the first significant in-state prospect Grant convinced to commit to Alabama, and his loss -- both in recruiting and on the offensive side of ball -- cannot be overstated. Now, it would appear that another Alabama native will not play for the Tide next season.
