Rutgers' big commit

When Shane Rector left NYC this past August, joining a long line of NYC prospects to decamp for New England prep schools before finishing high school, the consensus was that the guard had enrolled at South Kent to increase his standing on the recruiting trail and further develop his game. The 6-foot-1 guard was constantly mentioned this summer during various AAU tournaments, but was known more for his athleticism rather than his skill-set. However, a few months at South Kent has reportedly helped Rector, especially in his transition to a pure point guard, and the guard decided to commit to Rutgers.
