Smart's impressive impact

Oklahoma State sits at 14-5 on the year heading into today's tilt with No. 2 Kansas. The Cowboys are very much in the running for their first NCAA Tournament bid since 2010, and a number of players have stepped up to make it possible. Markel Brown leads the way in scoring, putting up 14.8 points per contest. Le'Bryan Nash has delivered some strong performances in his sophomore campaign and freshman Phil Forte has shown flashes of brilliance at times. But the real key continues to be the play of Marcus Smart.
